Welcome to Books Over Boys — a cozy, community-driven independent bookstore and book boutique created for readers, dreamers, and lovers of all things literary.

I’m Alyssa — a mom of four, a wife of six years, and a full-time project manager. In the in-between moments of busy family life and work, I built this shop from a simple passion: a love for books and the feeling they create.

The name Books Over Boys comes from my love of pop culture and raising three girls. It’s not about being against boys at all — it’s about reminding our girls (and all readers) that their world can be big, full, and entirely their own. There’s so much out there to explore, learn, and become.

What started as a dream has grown into a curated online book boutique offering thoughtfully selected books, unique gifts for book lovers, and fun experiences like our “Blind Date with a Book.”

Our mission is to create a warm, welcoming space — both online and eventually in-store — where people can slow down, connect, and rediscover the joy of reading.

Books Over Boys isn’t just a shop — it’s a feeling, a community, and a story in the making.
